The decisions that matter
Air fryer accessories are the racks, pans, liners and moulds that let a basket or oven-style fryer do more than fries: bake, roast, steam and hold small batches. The right accessory is the one that fits your exact basket size — a millimetre too wide and it does not go in at all.
Fit before anything else
Measure your basket's interior length, width and height. Accessories are sold by fryer size, and a set for a larger basket will not fit a smaller one.
Material
Stainless steel lasts and tolerates high heat; silicone is flexible and easy to clean but browns less. Nonstick coatings are convenient until they scratch.
What you actually cook
A cake pan earns its place if you bake; a skewer rack if you grill. A 6-piece set where you use two pieces is worse than two pieces you use weekly.
Cleaning
Dishwasher-safe accessories get used; hand-wash-only ones sit in a drawer. Check the care label before buying.

Before you buy any air fryer accessory
- ✓ Interior measurements of your exact basket or oven
- ✓ Material and maximum safe temperature
- ✓ Whether pieces are dishwasher-safe
- ✓ Whether the set matches your fryer size, not just the brand
Prices and availability change; check the retailer page before buying. Specifications on a retailer listing can differ from the manufacturer sheet — where they conflict, the manufacturer sheet wins, and this site flags the conflict rather than publishing one figure as fact.
Frequently asked questions
Are accessories universal?
No. Fit depends on your basket's interior dimensions, so check measurements for your model.
Do I need parchment liners?
They cut cleaning time, but perforated liners preserve airflow better than solid ones.
Can accessories go in the dishwasher?
Many can, but check each piece — silicone and steel usually can, coated pieces vary.
